(By Nikoleta  Peraki) On Friday, March 8, 2013 the famous singer Nikos Oikonomopoulos was awarded with Double Platinum CD in the presence of a multitude of artists, colleagues and friends who came to the nightclub «Fever» to share the joy of a wonderful evening!   From the beginning “Fever” was packed up. The first part of the program was presented by  the new and beautiful voices (such as Maria Egglezou and Katerina  Stikoudi) to heat the atmosphere to red. Nikos Oikonomopoulos came on stage along with the director of the company MINOS EMI Margarita  Matsa and director of the radio station "Lampsi 92.3" Makis Pounentis.  They were followed by all the authors of the winning CD awarded for their achievements.  Among them we saw lyricists Eleni Giannatsoulia, Niki Papatheochari, Nikos Doulamis, Lemonis  Skopelitis and composers Panos Kapiris , Dimitris Paraskevopoulos, Christian Doulamis and others.....  (written by Mari Anastasiou) On Friday, 8 th of March, 2013, there was a big celebration held at the nightclub “ Fever “ in Athens : the new album by Nikos Oikonomopoulosc “Ennoeitai”  was awarded  with the Double Platinum disc Makis Pounentis, the director of the radio” Lampsi 92,3” and Margaritsa Matsa, a general manager of EMI (Greece)  solemnly handed the award and plaques to the artist and all the creators of this CD. The music for this successful work was composed by Panos Kapris, George Sabanis,  Nikos and Christian Doulamis, Lemonis  Skopelitis,  Giannis  Jeremias  and Dimitris Paraskevopoulos with lyrics by Eleni Giannatsoulia, Niki Papatheochari, Fontas Theodorou, Nektarios Tirakis and Nikos Gristis,  besides,  two songs were composed by the tandem  Christodoulos  Siganos & Valentino .  Among the persons who were there to congratulate Nikos for his success were Giannis Plutarxos  and Nikos Vertis! Having family is a dream of Nikos Oikonomopoulos and  he reveals in an interview to the magazine “Ego Weekly”  that as soon as he find the woman for him he will go with her up the stairs of the church!  Meanwhile, the singer talks about the difficulties he has passed through, his faith in God and the love of people! Nikos Oikonomopoulos is the first artist who appeared at the show «Greeklips»,   MTV (this was broadcast on Monday,  the 4 th of March, 2013) Evangelia Aravani, «Greeklips» host, met him at a special concert for his fans  (Unplugged party at FIX, 27.02.13.) and spoke with him exclusively for MTV.  А concert with an unusual title - Exclusive Unplugged Nikos Oikonomopoulos - organized by radio Rhythmos 94.9 was held at the nightclub FIX, on Wednesday, the 27th of February. Music today is technically equipped till the point the voice of the singer sometimes hardly can be heard because of the many effects used by the sound engineers. That's why it is especially valuable that Nikos Oikonomopoulos appeared before his ardent admirers, accompanied by a small ensemble of mostly acoustic instruments. Microphone in his hand played the role of a humble assistant, without any frills added to the sound. This evening Nikos decided to show what he likes in music, and what he would like his audience to become familiar with and love.
